Candle Care

We are passionate about making beautiful candles

Our hand-poured candles are designed to be unique and beautiful statement pieces that enriches your home and life. We used highest quality cotton wicks that ensure an even and long-lasting burntime.

Your candle has unique sculptural features and as such is in the way it burns.
Frosting appearings? Gently rub with warm hands or soft towel. This means the wax is trying to return back to its natural form. It doesn’t affect the performance of a candle and also means our wax is 100 % natural. Adding dark colour can make frosting noticeable. If this is a concern we recommend to purchased the lighter colour.

Tips for burning your candle

As all of our candles are handcrafted individually, each candle is unique, some are rougher than others, some are smoother. Some have more crevices, jump lines and bubbles! Due to manufacturing process, we have no control over how each candle will set or how grey the concrete will be. It’s simply adds to the individuality of each candle. Please make sure you are happy with these process before you order. We are unable to offer refund for change of mind.

FIRST BURN:

- Your candles may drip, this is called teardrip, we recommend placing your candle on a flat dish or heat proof plate before lightning, to collect any wax that may drip.
- Trim the wick to 1/4 before lightning.
- Light your candle in a well-ventilated safe space, away from curtains, dried flowers and other flammable objects that can catch fire.
- Let candles burn for at least 2 hours so that a "melt pool" is created. Keep lit candles in view and never lit candles unattended.
- Always remember to blow your candle out when you leave the room or go to bed.

ONGOING USE:

- When not in use, place your candle away from direct sunlight and nearby heat sources.
- Before you light your candles again, we recommend that you trim the wick 2-3 cm from the surface of the wax, to ensure a consistent smoke-free flame.
- Keep candles free of dust and foreign materials like matches and wick trimmings.

CANDLE SAFETY:

- Keep candles out of reach of children and furry dogs and cats.
- Lit candles are very hot, never touch or move while the candle is lit.
